Troggs Reserves 2 Ashford Victoria 1
The goons picked up their second win of the season yesterday courtesy of a George Dyke wonder goal and cooly slotted penalty from veteran striker marcus pearce.
Dyke, in up top for younger brother matt who was struck down with flu, opened the scoring with a 30yard volley dipping under the cross bar.
Troggs remained on top for most of the game but allowed an Andy Jones led Victoria side back into the game on 60 minutes.
The effervescent Ben Gibbs, moved from right wing to striker then dribbled his way into the box before being brought down winning his side a penalty which Pearce sent home for the 2-1 win.
A good game and a great result for the goons who doubled their points tally to 6 and moved out of the relegation spots
