Troggs fans will be hoping that the MOM performance from Richard Moon on Sunday will be the first of many this season after his self admitted dissapointing season last term. Moon was pushed up top and although he favours a midfield role, with matt dyke leaving we may see more of him heading the front line. Moon bagged a brace against mersham the first coming after he cleverly dummied the keeper, letting the ball run through his legs, only to be hauled down before he could slot it home. He stepped up and despatched the penalty with his usual class. His second came as he quickly latched onto a miss placed backpass and he showed all the composure of a young michael owen carresing the ball into the bottom left. However many will focus on the missed chances at the death where Moon could have easily won the game for the Troggs but instead produced two all too familiar air shots when many, arguably lesser players, would have at worst tested the keeper. The question on many pundits lips will be -is this a new moon we're seeing or will the air shots and blazes over from 6 yards still outshadow his goal contributions? only time will tell
