...SMARDEN!

Dave Law delighted all at the club by committing his long term future to Smarden. Law has played the last 2 games for the den but many expected him to return to Lydd to the draws of £30 english pounds per week but he has decided to slum it out paying £4 of his hard earnt cash per week, just like the rest of us, for the pleasure of strutting his stuff at his spiritual home -cornes meadow.

Law man stated that he wanted to return to "hassle free football with his mates" and said he has now "set his sights on 100 club goals". Law has already reached the dizzy heights of 58 goals in just 2 season at the club and it won't be long before we're all celebrating his century and the landmark of 60 could come this weekend with Smarden facing shepway at home.

Law man, we salute you
