An Emotional Pete Nayden has hailed troggs effort on sunday as herculean as his proud team battered bliby in the second half especially of sundays cup final only to be denied by the woodwork and some fantastic keeping. Troggs were two nil down to a couple of quick first half goals from bliby but found another gear or four in the second half and proceeded with an onslaught on the Bliby Goal. Pearce coming closest with a header that produced a Banks type save. Moon crashed the woodwork from a freekick and Roffey, Dyke, Newman and Gibbs had chances which on any other day would have produced goals but it just seemed it wasn't to be.
After a hard fought battle the troggs retired to the open arms of the flying horse and proceeded to sing into the night and get absolutely ruined. Well done boys, we may not know how to win cup finals but we certainly know how to celebrate 'cup finalist' medals!!
I got in at about 1am after dropping Marcus off. Got this text from him: "Can't get key in door door keeps moving stay still or ill kick you hard" sums the night out up for me.
HOW THE PAPERS SAW THE FINAL:
Classic headline elsewhere in the paper "Terrified Angler Mistakes Smarden for the Serengeti" He thought the lions were loose!!

It also fails to mention I was standing further away from the goal than you were!!! Turned a certain throw in into a goal kick!!
