Try the 'Dirty Pretty Things', sounding like the Artic Monkeys, but thats a good thing right mate.
Not a new band, but give 'The Subways' a try, saw them in Cardiff & bought their album straight afterwards. 'Young for Eternity' a fine long player.
If you like your music to make your toes tap, try 'Flogging Molly', Irish American punk/ folk....awesome blend. 'Within a mile from home' is their latest offering on the album front.
Okay your probably ready now to experiment a little, well broaden your mind you gypsy punks 'coz 'Gogol Bordello' are here to do just that !
'Start wearing Purple,' my immigrant Trogg friends and enjoy this bizzaire offering from this hybrid Ukranian outfit.
Well theres four bands who do it for me. Go on try one of them you never know we may have something in common after all ! _________________ 'NICE AVATAR, SHIT JOKES' ! |

May I suggest 'D4L' 'sahke that laffy taffy' to you both.
As for Gogol Bordello; i like the wearing purple track when i heard a while back but have heard nothing from them since. I even limewired them? |

...Now were talkin'. Bought their greatest hits the other day, stands up brilliantly today, just as it did when i was a spotty teenager.
Remember listening to 'New World Record' for the first time and never stopped enjoying them, fave track, somewhere between 'Evil Woman & Livin' thing'. _________________ 'NICE AVATAR, SHIT JOKES' ! |

Heres one for you....
Listen to the first 30seconds of ELO - Mr blue sky
then listen to the first 30seconds of Bluetones - After Hours.
Spot the difference (there is none) |
