Unbeaten in 1and a half league seasons, shepway probably fancied their chances against a smarden side without a win in 3 league games. But in the game the fans are 'the game where it finally all clicked' arches men ran out 7-2 winners blowing shepway off the park.

Law and Moon were outstanding up top terrorising the shepway defence and netting a hat trick each. G.Dyke with the 7th and an MOM performance from Stocker who put last years prem top scorer Billy Driver in his pocket and kept him there for 90 minutes.

Arch had gambled on his side, changing a team that had won 7-1 against yalding in the cup, moving tony carty into the middle of the park, perhaps forced as stuey batt was missing through injury, and bringing loppy back in at center back alongside lee and stocks, Matt Dyke had to watch on as moon and law ran riot up top and eels and hodge did the leg work on the wings.

Aaron Brown got his first smarden start of the season and was as impressive as ever in nets filling in as third choice keeper.
