Graham Stocker has ended his reign as Troggs manager with immediate effect in a shock move following Troggs 4-0 win over Lydd in the bodkin cup. Assistant manager Ben Gibbs will step into a caretaker role with a view to taking it on full time with George Dyke promoted from head scout to assistant manager.
Stocker has sited work commitments as the reason for the departure but despite the recent cup wins he leaves Troggs with -1 points from their intial 6 league games.
There is no doubt the big man will be missed but if he couldn't make all the games he wanted its understandable. On a positive note he will now be available as a player from sunday and will surely be considered. However, Ben Gibb is also an important member of the first team and in my opinion a full time manager is better than a player manager so the position is still under scrutiny. _________________ Troggs Stats (Since 05/06):
