The Troggs face Bethersden this Sunday in their first league game since they lost the reverse fixture 4-3 over at Bethersden 3 weeks ago. Troggs slipped to 4th in the league at the weekend after Market lost their 100% record to Kennington going down 4-3 again showing the openness of this year’s prem.
Troggs still sit 3 points above local rivals Bethersden but have played 2 more games and home games are fast becoming must win games in this competitive league. Despite losing 4-3 the Troggs took a lot of positives from the Bethersden after they fought back to 3-3 from 3-1 but will be looking for an improved performance as they bid to build on their good start to the league season.
The game is always a popular fixture with the fans and the Terraces of 'Fortress' Cornes Meadow are expected to be packed. (get your tickets early and come tooled up it could be a rough one)
We need to win this one! Make no mistake, we need to win this so come on lads! GRRRRRRRRR! So fucking excited about the weekends fixtures and it's only Tuesday!!! _________________ Root baby root!
