Last Night Troggs Gaffa Graeme Stocker confirmed that the Troggs will be without midget center back Tony Carty (pictured below) until at least January. Carty will play his last Troggs game of the calendar year on Sunday against Mersham before going under the knife for essential brain surgery to correct his woeful exam results. After the surgery Carty will need until at least January to recover and revise for new exams.
Carty will be a massive loss to the Troggs who have started so well in their debut season in the premier league. Stocka does have other center back options available to him with Lee Hollingsby, the versatile George Dyke, and of course hopefully the gaffa himself will return to action sooner rather than later but the club has refused to rule out the possibility of bringing another player in, perhaps on a temporary loan deal
