FOOTBALL LEGENDS FLOCK TO TROGGS CAUSEThe ever growing list of football legends backing the troggs and supporting them over the forum gate saga grew recently with the additions of Merson, Martin and Houghton as more and more former professionals back the troggs on their quest to survive in the ashford sunday prem. Paul Merson, of arsenal and england fame - pictured below with Dyke, was reported as saying "wheres the bar". Former hammer Alvin Martin said "go on the Troggs" whilst villa legend Houghton apparently accepted a Rodney Marsh style bet to prove his faith saying he would "shave his head if the Troggs got relegated"

The three former pro's join an ever growing list of celebrity troggs backers including Matt Le Tissier and Dean Holdsworth, who, at 41 and 40 respectively wouldn't even be the oldest troggs players if they donned the hallowed shirt (go on grandad tom!).

Ian Holloway (pictured below with Dyke) described todays Troggs victory over Charing strangely as he mused: "To put it in gentleman's terms if you've been out for a night and you're looking for a young lady and you pull one, some weeks they're good looking and some weeks they're not the best. Our performance today would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi. She weren't the best looking lady we ended up taking home but she was very pleasant and very nice, so thanks very much, let's have a coffee" Cheers Ian. Legend

BOYS IF THESE GUYS THINK WE CAN STAY UP, WHO ARE WE TO ARGUE?!
Please note celeb quotes may not actually be real and all stories are quite probably made up
