Saxon feel brunt as Smarden finally find formThe Post christmas slump thankfully came to end on saturday as Smarden finally recaptured their early season form stuffing the Saxon 8-2.
With what was the best first half of Smarden football this season, if not since I can remember, Smarden came in at the break 6-0 to the good after some lovely flowing football that simply destroyed the Saxon defence.
The second half restored some pride for the saxon, with Arch resting Dyke and Ryan for sundays game and the half levelling out at 2-2.
Law Man as usual took the majority of the goals notching 5. Moon, despite again missing several sitters took the pick of the 8 goals catching Ryans cross with a sweet volley from the edge of the box. Simon Eels picked up a rare goal and Ryan completed the Rout

well you gotta let the fans that couldn't make it know what went wrong in the second half 
I've been crap all season but it seems that by turning 25 on sat I've turned back into a footballer! Lets hope something happens to mooney soon....
