SMARDEN FINISH 6th IN LEAGUESmarden ended what was a dissapointing season in 6th place. Here is the final league table... although the FA website says

Shepway only just won the league by a point! At least we finished above fellow promotees east malling, but we should have been up there challenging
Arch told me that Headcorn are getting promoted so I am guessing they are promoting 3 and relegating 2 to make it ten in the prem so Wateringbury Village (?!), MPE and Headcorn join us next season.

I think with 2 signings we can be right up there. We can beat anyone on our day, we proved that against shepway.

2 signings... a striker and a center back?
Arch has hinted that he wants to try hodge in the middle next season which i agree with. Makes the center midfield spots even more contested!!
but would allow me or carty to be a center back more often. (carty more i'm rubbish there)
Matt Dykes uni bound so we'll need another striker as moon is old and rubbish. Few signings on the horizon, will have to see how they get on pre season friendlies

well roff is the striker we need and the centre midfield will be less contested as tim has now excepted that some people don't play in that position!

yeah possibly he has but you never know with Tim, we all thought he'd hadn't played bruce in center mid once this season but whacked him there for the cup semi!

We need 1 or 2 but 1 is roff and the other i'm not sure. tim doesn't like signing too many people too often because it can upset the squad. i agree with him

Yeah definetly agree with Tim no need to bring in loads of players we've already got loads. And no point just bringing in equal to what we've got, thats why I usually do one a season and make sure he's the best player we've got in that position (aaron, law, hodge)

Played up top on Sunday. Scored 1 and made 2. Recon I can do a job up there on a saturday. Me and Law man would cause some serious problems in the air with a combined hight of 8 foot.

yeah the big men up top tactic could work!
you need to concentrate on your midfield/defence role on a saturday, we might need your goal scoring prowess on a sunday though?!
