A game that could easily have gone either way, but in the end, & though it grieves me to say it boro may have just done enough to deserve it.
Considering the fact that we had a few missing & that the average age of the team was, well lets just say 'considerable', i thought against a well organised boro team we performed well.
We could have gone in three up at half time and the game would have been over, & having eventually taken the lead it was dissapointing to give it away cheaply & further concede to lose to a scoreline which flattered them.
All in all a good performance and one in which those that dont always get a game should feel more that satisfied with their performances.

I thought we had a really good first half and could have had 2 / 3, although they did also have their chances. We worked well as a team and it was all there for the taking in the second half. I am not really sure what happened then, maybe we sat back just a little, maybe it was fitness I am really not sure.
A good goal and then a silly goal and they were on top from what had been a very even game in my opinion. It certainly wasn't through lack of effort from anyone as I know everyone came off knackered. I agree with what you say though, 3-1 did flatter them and I thought we played pretty well all things considered but still gutted.

Ps Kit comments passed on but Mrs Smudge advises me that her scrubbing skills won't be used again until next season!!

Yeah,
Thought we look good on Sunday - created 5/6 very good chances in the game - apologies are due as atleast 3/4 of them fell to me. Appreciated the diplomacy employed by da G-dad in not singling anyone out for special abuse. We've got Egerton this wk and Ashford Eagles nxt - if we turn in the sort of performance we did last weekend there's six easy points up for grabs. Still can't log-in and the 'iamgay' password that Dykey administered does not work (any chance you can get that badboy sorted?)
