TRANSFER NEWS: Hollingsbee set for BiddendenSmarden center back Lee Hollingsbee looks set to sign for local rivals Biddenden this week for an undisclosed fee. Hollingsbee was reportedly unsettled in the Smarden Saturday side and Biddenden have been looking to secure his services to sure up their defence and halt their shaky start to the season having gone 3 league games without a win. Hollingsbee has been playing well this season starting all of smardens 8 games at center back and scoring 1 goal.
The move will come as a suprise to the smarden faithfull but the deal is thought to have been engineered to help finance the return of Dave Law to cornes meadow. Tim Archer reassured fans by reminding them that he still has a lot of center back options with Loppy, Carty, Stocker, Laurence, Dyer and Batt all able to play in the back 2 or 3.
Hollingsbee has announced that he leaves the club with a heavy heart but will still be available for sunday duties for the Troggs. Everything looks sealed on the deal should the defender pass his medical on saturday morning.
