Unsettled playmaker Paul 'Chunk' Newman has struggled to return from pre-season injury and has started just 1 game this season. The player who notched 9 goals and provided 19 assists last year, has been at the center of recent transfer speculation....

Paul Newman's Agent, Spankus Frank, has this afternoon released a statement confirming his client has been approached by 2 other Div 2 sides but has turned both down because he feels he has a future with the Troggs. Speaking exclusively to BBC Five Live, Spankus Frank, also the agent of Richard Moon, said "Newman has a massive amount of love for the Troggs and feels his future definately lies with the Smarden outfit. He is now prepared to enrol on a fitness regime which will see him running and also not drinking during the week" The player himself is yet to comment but will probably do so a book signing event at Blue water shopping centre this coming Friday. _________________
