ahhhh the Bluetones, ask Steveo bowt that night in Folkestone !!!!!!

We'd got all genned up on the band, bought their greatest hits and everything, went to the Leas, got pissed waited expectantly, then they came on and played a gig for their 'true' fans.....didnt know a bloody song, not one Evil or Very Mad

Real shame coz they've made some stonkin' singles !

Try this lot if you like American street punk with some urban collabarations.
They are a spin off from another great yank punk outfit called Rancid, and Transplants as they are called were put together by Rancids Tim Armstrong.
Apart from Armstrongs great punk voice the style of the music is vastly different, offering a more 'commercial' sound.

Listen to 'gangsters & thugs' & 'what i cant describe' to hear the differing styles. thugs having an almost ska sound, whilst the latter is almost R & b!!

The rest of the album takes on a harder sound, and i would highly reccomend a purchase. If you do enjoy this progress to the even more aggressive sounds of Rancid immediately !!

Trust me people you wont be dissapointed. Cool

HOWL HOWL GAFF GAFF !! actually saw these Swedish rockers earlier this year down at the Brighton centre, they were supporting the excellent Strokes.
At the time i hadn't heard of them so didn't really get into what they were doin, it was a bit 'prog rocky' for me & mrs Morphin, but i'd definatley give them a second listen.

Enough of these gay jibes boys, time for a new band, try 'The Raconteurs', thats Jack Whites new project, he of White Stripes fame.

The album titled 'Broken boy soldiers' is not released till May 15, but the first single from it is out today and called 'steady as she goes'.

The style of the music is very much old skool rock, as in Ledzep, small faces but there are mellower moments to. Ive heard four tracks and they sound awesome, get into them now my gay friends.....shit, there i go again ENOUGH !!!!! Cool
