O'LEARY TARGETS GIBBO!!!!

The shock decision by Paul Newman to leave club skipper Gibbo on the bench in troggs key league game on sunday has had a knee jerk reaction from two Premiership bosses.

It is reported that under fire Villa boss O'Leary see's Gibbs as an ideal replacement for want away striker Juan Pablo Angel.

The only thing that could hamper the possible deal is the playboy lifestyle which 'Gibbo' leads, ex Leeds boss O'Leary is reported to have said that Bowyer and Woodgate are amateurish compared to Gibbs.

Newly promoted Reading have also shown an interest in the striker who could form a promising partnership with Steve Sidwell up front, Coppell said 'Gibbs likes Leggy ginger partners'.

Troggs fc manager Paul Newman has stepped in to quash rumours that Striker, Ben Gibbs, could soon be leaving the minnis for villa park. Newman said 'Gibbo is still a big part of the future of the club and to suggest he will be leaving after one bench appearance is rediculous'. Newman also quipped 'Gibbo is a pro and I know he will stay and fight for his place in this side'.

After hearing Troggs Manager Paul Newmans comments to the press following recent stories that the 'Striker' could be leaving, Club Captain Ben Gibbs has moved quickly to pledge his future to the club.

He did concede that a move Aston Villa, the club that he has supported since his boyhood, would be 'a dream'. However he states that he has become dis-illusioned with the mangement at the premiership club and 'wants to stay involved with a team that are going places'. He also urges the club not to make any kind of move for him in the summer, as any advance's will only involve in more dissappointment for the loyal Villian faithful. Although there is a very real possiblity the Villa board will ignore this plee, as they haven't listened to their fans for a number of years, and also managed to spot talent such as Eric "So shite they named him twice" Djemba-Djemba, and Useless De La Cruz, to name a few.

He finished by stating that "as a Troggs player through and through, I am as excited about the possibility of Div 1 football next season as the next, which we have a very real chance of achieving.... Lets give 'em hell for the remaining games this season and see what happens...Comon the Troggs!!!!"

On the topic of leggy gingers he refuses to comment..... Laughing

The Villa story wont go away as David o Leary is secretly photographed with troggs chairman Tim Archer, yesterday in the 'local' drinking establishment 'The FlyingHorse'.
