A Dire performance from the Troggs saw them slump to their first defeat since 11th November against Fox Sunday yesterday.

Loppy, missing trusted center back partnership Dyke and Hollingsbee, paired Carty and Stocker and the back and recalled moon to the right of midfield, with Ryan making way.

The new look side didn't cut the mustard though as they slipped to two early goals from the Fox and didn't look like they were interested in the game at all, the only thing to excite the fans in the first half was when stocker contested a ball with the Fox forward, knocking the ball out of play and knocking the fox forward out for the count.

Loppy missed the half time break escorting the confused player out of the ground but a rousing team talk from stalwart Tommy Carlton looked to have to the desired effect.

Troggs came out looking to get back in the game and that they did with a stunning free kick from Adamson finding the top corner. 2-1. Adamson then came close to another free kick stunner but for a super save from the fox keeper. Troggs made further chances including a mazy run and shot from Carlton which produced another good stop.

But it wasn't enough and soon the Fox extended their lead and after a couple of mix ups at the back the Troggs found themselves unasailably behind 4-1. A dismal day all round for the players and fans.

Nervously awaiting the news of the days other results the Troggs now know the league title will undoubtedly be out of their hands and hope this slip up will not cost them 2nd place. They will now need results against Hamstreet, Mersham and Bocca to hang on to the promotion spot.

Penso che il gioco del calcio a meta prima sia stato provero ed il midfield assomigliato esso difettava dell'equilibrio. Sto sperando che questo non uin le nostre probablita di promozione ma la selezione delle squadra dovra essere ritornate in awenira.

Thanks Fabio, What a host of foreign managers we have on the forum these days. Perhaps they are all after Loppa's job?

I think that the football to goal before is provero been and the midfield resembled it was lacking some balance.  I am hoping that this not our uin probablita of promotion but the selection of the squad dovra to to be returned in awenira.

re-reading that I think Capello means 'We missed Dyke for midfield balance and I hope thats not the cup final selection"
