Good things that have come from the 'pick the cup final side theme' - The forum is getting a reasonable amount of posts again.
Bad things- Members of the squad are having their confidence knocked. Be honest. If you saw peoples sides and you weren't in the starting line-up, regardless of what's happened this season, you're going to be pissed off. (yes, before you ask, i was pissed off. Ha fucking ha.)
We are not FOCUSED on the bigger picture, which is promotion! As the match on Sunday proved. One player admitting- "When we were 3-1 down, i just wanted the match to be over" WHAT! Half an hour to go, playing an average side and felt we couldn't pull it back. COME ON! A cup final is supposed to be the cherry on the promotion cake. Carry on playing with the same heart as Sunday and it'll be a cherry on top of a fucking big pile of Great Dane shit....tasty.
Why are we concentrating on the cup final side, when there is still a possible five more games on a Sunday before then. A lot can happen in those games. Injuries, suspensions, lack of form. Making it impossible to pick the side a month and a half in advance.
And last, but not least. None of us are going to have a say who starts anyway! That's what the gaffer is paid for.
Let's do our talking on the pitch and secure promotion, before we get excited about cup final day.

Totally agree... rating players performances over the weekend can only have a negative effect on our chances in all competitions.. We all know we had a bad game on Sunday.. Please lets just leave it at that, pick ourselves up, give Eagles a good thrashing next week, and start posting pics of naked chicks that made this forum so popular in the first place!
To contradict myself a little I also agree with you Stocks, alot CAN happen in 5 weeks... Injures, suspensions, lack of form, AND finding some form!! (There's still hope for MOON yet!!! )

| Non penso che il Troggs finale dovrebbe avere l'effetto opposto sui giocatori nella lega I giocatori nella finale di coppa dovrebbero avere per mostrare sono abbastanza buoni per camminare in. Con la maggior parte dei giochi quest'agaainst di stagione ha chiamato cosė le squadre minore Troggs ha mancato la motivazione e non č sembrato preoccupato che hanno perso 4-1 alla casa. Il Troggs mancavano tre giocatori principale Lee Holinsbee, la Diga di Dyer di Chris e George ed essranno di ritorno nella squadra. |

Stocks fair point I don't think it does that much good picking a team now but i've loved it as its the first time anyone other than me and deano has posted for ages!!
you could say the other positive is that people do now have a chance to make a case for themselves. Lets also be honest its only ever 'guest' who posts a line up and he's changed his mind 4times! Like you say its down to loppa at the end of the day but i dont think its that damaging to hear the voice of the fans. I'm probably only saying it as i'm in the line ups tho
And gibbo your right lets get back to posting naked chicks and moon slander instead of slating real players (it is FINE to slate Moon or Andy tho)
